日本古来の伝統楽器である【琴】(こと)と【ジャズギター】を 融合させた新感覚演奏集団【ラムセス】

ジャズギタリスト、宮本政志(みやもと まさし) 琴奏者【匠の琴爪】(たくみのことつめ)代表である堀籠保美(ほりごめ やすみ) 琴奏者のヴェルヴェット裕子(ゆうこ)によるグループです。
日本古来の伝統楽器、琴(箏)(こと)・・・ 絃(げん)の本数が十三本の【箏】(こと→正しくは そう)、
十七本の低音の琴、【十七絃】(じゅうしちげん)、
そして異なるようでいて、親和性のある世界観を持つ、ギター。
三つの表現体が融合し、ストレートなジャズを演奏するのが、 Ramses(ラムセス)です。

ジャズの中で息づく箏の新たな魅力、 箏が奏でる味わい深いJAZZ Worldをぜひお楽しみください。

Born in Yamanashi Japan in 1969. Went to Tokyo at age 16 to be a professional jazz guitarist. Now a seasoned musician passionate for live plays, composing and arranging, all centered on jazz, but in broad genres of swing, bee pop and free forms. Organizer of Jazz-Ann, a jazz laboratory & label.

Born in Tokyo. Started piano lessons at age four and the Japanese traditional Sou at eight. A licensed instructor of the Yamada school of the Sou. Now the Representative of Takumi no Koto-Tsume, a group creating alternative Sou picks out of crystal and other natural stones, instead of a traditional material of ivory. Also teaching at Nadja Music a variety of the Sou instruments, such as the 13 and the 17 string and a popular compact model.

Velvet Yuko

Learned the Sou in the orthodox Ikuta school since childhood. An authorized Sou instructor. Graduated from NHK Hogaku Ginou Ikuseikai for the training of Japanese music instruments. Besides performances, Yuko is active in promoting music classes, Japanese instruments jam sessions and workshops for jazz and Japanese culture experiences, etc. Representative of Nadja Music.
